NOW IT’S OFFICIAL! We are very happy to share with you the names of the two winners of the EuroSpaceHub Ibiza and DIPEF Music Contest “The Soundtrack of the Ibizan Sunset”.
In the framework of the EuroSpaceHub Ibiza Forum panel on “Space and Music”, EurospaceHub and DIPEF (Ibiza DJ’s Association) have organized two different competitions, one local targeting the Ibizan community and one international. The goal of the contests was to enhance the power and beauty of the music that serves as the soundtrack to the Ibizan sunset. The international competition was titled “Space Music 4 Sunset” and was open to anyone with an original composition inspired by Space, with a duration between 3 and 5 minutes. The local contest was called “3’20” Space” and it was open to DIPEF members. The track had to be 3’20” long and it was meant to be played at sunset during the “Space Jam” session at Ibiza Forum 2023. Entries were evaluated by a panel of four judges: Christian Len, president of DIPEF; Leonardo Barilaro, pianist and composer, aka “The Space Pianist; DJ Pippi, renowned DJ in Ibiza; and Jara Pascual, of the EuroSpaceHub Community.
We are truly amazed by the soundtracks we received and congratulate all the participants for their creativity and talent. We are happy to report the winners here, who were officially announced at the Space Jam event during the EuroSpaceHub Forum in Kumharas, Ibiza, last May 4th!
Special congratulations to the two winners, respectively for the the international and the local contest: alessandroiLove, with his soundtrack “Spiritual Sunset”, and Valentin Huedo, with his soundtrack “Wonderful Piano”. Here is some more information about the two fantastic winners!
About ALESSANDROiLOVE
Since his first drum lessons at the age of four, Alessandro’s learning has evolved with piano studies, music production, cinematographic composition, sound engineering, and with the will of continuing learning in the infinite musical universe. Passionate about electronic music, he focused his interest on the professional mix for clubs. He made his public debut in the well-known Café del Mar in Ibiza. A few months later he started his weekly Radio Show “Together to Infinity” on Pure Ibiza Radio. He always stood out for expressing with music not only a capable rhythm to make the body move, but the need to express something else, the power to touch the feelings of his audience and when possible to reach their hearts. In recent years he has been dedicated to his musical productions, focusing on the dream of evolving his own brand, “Ibiza in the City”.

About Valentin Huedo
Born in Ibiza, Valentin is today one of the island’s ambassadors, touring clubs and festivals all over the world. In Ibiza he was resident of Café del Mar for 10 years, Kehakuma (Space), Blue Marlin and recently at WooMoon in Cova Santa. As a producer he has edited on All day I Dream, Music for Dreams or “Do no sit” among others. The track “Wonderful Piano” by Valentin Huedo feat Troels Hammer is part of Valentin Huedo and The MFD Collective album, to be released this year at Music For Dreams.
